Ira Dubey majored in theatre studies at Yale University and returned to India to pursue acting professionally in 2004. Apart from assaying numerous lead stage roles, she has acted in over a dozen theatrical productions with the Primetime Theatre Co. including in “30 Days in September”, by Mahesh Dattani, and “Wedding Album” by Girish Karnad. Her film credits include “Dear Zindagi” starring Alia Bhatt and Shahrukh Khan. She has acted most recently as Fatima Jinnah in Nikhil Advani’s “Freedom At Midnight”. In addition to acting, she has been a film-critic, talk-show host, brand presenter and curator. She has her own production company Lila Naatak Company.
