  • Clara Nubile examines the art of adjusting the written and the spoken in literary spaces.

    Workshop profile :

  • Clara Nubile is a literary translator and writer, who has been translating mostly fiction from English into Italian for the last 26 years. Among her translations: Life of Pi by Yann Martel, The Everest Hotel by Allan Sealy, Mumbai Fables by Gyan Prakash, Quarterlife by Devika Rege, and the works of Parahamsa Yogananda. She used to live in Mumbai, and has travelled all over India. Some of her works are set in India, like Trascuranze, her last novel and her collection of short stories Le Febbri. She has published several novels, short stories and poems. Her novel Lupo has been translated into French.

    • This workshop is open to participants aged 18 and above.

    • Entry for all workshops is limited and is on a first-come-first-serve basis.

    • Once the workshop registration reaches full capacity, the form will close.

    • An offline waitlist will be prepared at the venue from 10 a.m. onwards for the same-day workshop, subject to seat availability.

    • All registered participants must report at the workshop venue at least 30 minutes before the start of the workshop to confirm their seat, failing which their seat will be made available for the offline waitlist.

    • Waitlisted registrations must report at the workshop venue 20 minutes prior to the workshop start time. Depending on seat availability they will be accommodated.

    • All registrations will close 15 minutes before the start of the workshop.

    • Please inform us if you’ve registered but cannot attend.
